The Munny Popcat is an Emblem Heartless that appears in Kingdom Hearts III.

Design

The Munny Popcat appears as a slim feline-like Heartless with white fur and black skin that shows in its face, ears, feet, and in its sharply curled tail. Its face contains a pair of beady yellow eyes and a zig-zagged mouth which extends upward in the middle.

When inactive, the Munny Popcat hides in a gold pot with a pattern of white diamond shapes contrasting against the orange triangle pattern at the bottom of the pot, with a pattern of yellow teardrop shapes around each diamond. In the middle of the pot is its Heartless emblem. After becoming active, the Munny Popcat will keep the pot attached to its upper body as it runs around with its head, torso, and legs exposed.

Strategy

Munny Popcats are unthreatening on their own, and as such they tend to appear in groups. They will hide in their pots to attempt to blend in with the background, but their pots are distinctive and they're easily seen when they peek their eyes from under the pot. When close enough, they will jump and slash at Sora, but this attack is slow and easily dodged.

Munny Popcats have low defense and health, and the group can easily be defeated before they can finish their first attack by using a couple casts of Thunder or Aero magic.
