The Beasts & Bugs are possessed toys featured in Toy Box, a world from Kingdom Hearts III based on Toy Story.

Design[edit]

Beasts & Bugs are plastic toys with animal and vehicular features. Their main body is largely purple and boxy, with a general throne-like figure. In the center of the body is an elephant head with two tusks on a platform attached to each side, as well as two blue ears sticking out of the sides of its head. In the middle of its head is a cannon acting as a trunk. On the bottom of its thick boxy 'legs' are cyan elephant feet with yellow lines along the front with a set of wheels underneath them. It has two vents on its top and a large set of wheels below the back of its structure.

While possessed by Marionettes, their square eyes are yellow, and they bear the Heartless emblem on their front.

Strategy[edit]

Kingdom Hearts III[edit]

Beasts & Bugs have an erratic movement pattern, so attacking them with aerial combos can save some effort trying to catch them. Their attack pattern is relatively simple, however, as they only have one attack which they will use while retreating from an opponent. The projectile they fire has homing properties, so be prepared to block or dodge it when it comes in from an unexpected angle.

It generally does not flinch before using its attack, so after it fires its projectile is where it will be most vulnerable.
