These flying fiends will dart at you with guns blazing, but they can only attack head-on. Turns out, shooting too straight is a weakness! They may be easy to dodge, but they're not easy to hit. Don't hold back with that magic! |

The Vaporfly is an Emblem Heartless that appears in Kingdom Hearts III.
Story
Kingdom Hearts III
When the Raging Vulture begins its assault on the Pearl alongside a swarm of Vaporflies, Sora uses a Vaporfly's smoke to catch up to it and mount it in order to fight the Raging Vulture. Upon the Raging Vulture's defeat, all the Vaporflies disappear, causing Sora to plummet into the water when the one he was mounting disappears.
Design
The Vaporfly resembles a flying bug-like creature. Its body is largely round and metallic, and it has several metallic cones on the sides of its face and one as its proboscis. It has several spots of rust along its body, with one on its back and one on its face, with its wings also being rusty in texture. It also has two antennae, a pair of hook-like feet, and an anchor-like tail.
Strategy
The Vaporfly mostly attacks in a straight line, so its attacks can be evaded by dodging in another direction. In the Raging Vulture fight, they can be mounted and used to fire shots, launch torpedoes, and perform an aerial dodge. When their Magic Missile attack is used, they will emit a colored smoke which can be used to rail slide on.
