The Puffball is an Emblem Heartless that appears in Kingdom Hearts III.

Design[edit]

The Puffball has a round, black body with a small, darkened circular face where both of its yellow eyes can be seen. Below its face is its Heartless emblem. It has two small stub legs, two small greenish-yellow weed-like wings, and a flower shaped plant on the top of its head.

Strategy[edit]

Puffballs are weak, but typically appear in groups. Their spin attack is easy to react to, and can be blocked and countered with a reprisal to knock the Puffball away from its allies, as well as potentially hitting other Puffballs in the area.

As long as MP is available, Aero magic is the easiest way to deal with groups of Puffballs due to their weakness to it.

When a Chief Puff is present, the Puffballs will support the Chief Puff by forming into a tower, however once the Chief Puff's armor is broken the Puffballs will cease supporting the tower and return to their normal behavior.
