The Sea Sprite is an Emblem Heartless that appears in Kingdom Hearts III.

Design[edit]

The Sea Sprite is an eel-like aquatic Heartless. Its slithery body is largely jagged, with extrusions along its body that contain blue spheres at their tips. It has an oval head containing a zig-zagged mouth, two beady yellow eyes, and a Heartless emblem below its mouth.

Strategy[edit]

The strategy to defeat Sea Sprite varies some depending on what color they're currently in, but generally isolating them from the other enemies makes it easier to finish them off with physical combos uninterrupted.

Every 20-30 seconds the Sea Sprite will change color in the order of blue to red to yellow to iridescent to blue, however which color they start as when appearing varies on location. What color they're in effects their elemental weaknesses and attacks, with blue Sea Sprites being weak to Thunder, red being weak to Blizzard, and yellow being weak to Fire. Aero magic can work against groups of Sea Sprites, but is ineffective against them while in their iridescent state.

When evading their attacks, make note of their color, as while red and blue they will use projectile attacks, whereas they will use close range attacks while yellow and iridescent.
