The Wavecrest (ウェイブクレスト Weibukuresuto) is a Heartless Boss from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It's in the same family of Heartless as the Wyvern.

These large aerial Heartless use their potent water breath to attack their prey.
This strain cannot be forced to land, so be sure to face them well-equipped to do combat in midair.
~Ah, the Wavecrest. I call it one of the most beautiful heartless i've had to face so far. Anyway, the first time you fight it is at Never Land and you'll probably do most of the battle in the air. It uses a light blue ray to attack you as well as an attack that it spins through the air toward you and finally, an attack where it goes extremly fast toward you. The first attack (the blue ray) i'd suggest just turning and running when you see that the Wavecrest is about to do it. The spin attack is my personal favorite because when it does it, not only is it very easy to dodge, but it needs to stop for a few seconds before attacking so ou can fly in and get a combo or two at it. The fast one is pretty well impossible to dodge and deals a pretty good amount of damage so bring some potions (as i advise for every mission, just in case)~
