Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
A massive plant-like Heartless with a savage claw attack. The toxic pollen it spews from its head saps victims' HP for as long as they breathe it, and it can trap the player in it's flower to drain life.
Destroy all of the Tentaclaws to dizzy the main body, then move in.
Note that defeating Tentaclaws or hitting them with magic will speed up the pollen bursts.
Appearance
The Leechgrave is a large, spider-like Heartless. It has four long, thorn-covered legs, its body is a nailed coffin with one yellow eye peaking out and wrapped in chains. A large, bolbous, flower-like object that is maroon and light purple in coloration forms at the top of the coffin. If one looks carefully, a pair of hands can be seen reaching out of this beast's coffin-like body, which can be used to attack.
Strategy
The Leechgrave is quite the conundrum. Fought near Oogie's Manor, Roxas must deplete its HP while dealing with lesser enemies that the creature summons around it as a decoy. These smaller Heartless, however, are best ignored. The Leechgrave is slow, large, and immobile, using a swinging attack in which it swings its body forwards and deals impact damage to Roxas. It may also slash at the player with its ghost-like hands. The Leechgrave may also emit a cloud of toxicity.
Should one's HP reach the "Alarm Zone," do not hesitate to use the Limit Break. So long as the player heals periodically, this Heartless boss should not be too difficult of an opponent.
Leechgrave is highly resistant to magic, leaving only the Keyblade to fight with, and the Tentaclaws have a tendency to dodge your attacks as well. It is recommended that you take little to no offensive magic, and stick with healing magic, such as Cure, Cura, or Curaga. Use whatever you can get your hands on, as this fight can be very difficult for players on proud mode.
If you can take out the Tentaclaws in seconds, then by all means do, but if it takes a minute or so, you might as well just head straight for the body. The stun that killing all four tentaclaws gives isn't very long, and usually they do about as much damage as the boss itself (All four combined, over time).
If you're on proud mode, and don't have the greatest panels, your going to find this boss will take sheer and absolute luck, as many other players have already figured out.
