Template:Heartless/KHII The Living Bone (リビングボーン Ribingu Bōn ) is an Emblem Heartless that is found in Kingdom Hearts II.
They are some of the stronger enemies in the game, and are in the same ranks as other formidable foes such as Devastators and Assault Riders. By using their Reaction Command, Sora can decapitate them. These heartless appear in three diffrent ways in the game: one, with heads two, without and three with heads and a Shamans on their back. The headless version of this heartless appear later in the game if you choose to revisit after the main story is finished and seem to be stronger than the originals.
Living Bones are sometimes ridden by Shamans. This forms a powerful relationship—the Living Bone's strength and the Shaman's magic make it even more intimidating. If the Living Bone a Shaman is riding on is defeated, the Shaman is defeated along with it.
There is a close resemblance between Living Bones and the Groundshaker. It is plausible that the two are somehow related.
Journal Entries
Make sure to dodge its strong attacks as they deal huge damage. Weaken it instantly by crushing its head with the reaction command!
With a shaman, it powers up to unleash deadly curses, but merely defeat it as you would a shaman.

Trivia
- Sora can fight this Heartless in his normal form in Olympus Coliseum; however, he has no access to the Rodeo/Grand Cross Reaction Command, because it only works with his Lion form. This is true for all Heartless created for the Pride Lands.
