Vermilion Samba

Kingdom Hearts III
These fiery fliers come to a midair halt and conjure up a sigil before they launch flaming badness at you. Use that opportunity to strike!

When they do start dishing out the rapid-fire spells, keep a cool head and dodge out of the way.

Nothing rains on their parade quite like a cool sip of Water magic. If you've got the MP to spare, go ahead and make a splash!

The Vermilion Samba is an Emblem Heartless that appears in Kingdom Hearts III.

Design[edit]

The Vermilion Samba has a smooth, conical body colored red and pink and has a Heartless emblem emblazoned on its chest. The top of its body flares outward and forms a jagged "collar" below the Heartless's spherical, pitch black head. It also wears a conical, pink and dark crimson hat that has a jagged brim and a thin, curled tip. Like many Heartless, the Vermilion Samba has glowing yellow eyes.

Like other Heartless in its family, the Vermilion Samba's name refers to a color—in this case, vermilion—and a musical term—in this case, a Samba, a type of Brazilian dance music.

Strategy[edit]

Once they summon their sigil, Vermillion Sambas have only two attacks: throwing 5 balls of fire at the target, or lighting itself aflame and ramming the target. These attacks can easily be blocked or dodged, after which the Vermilion Samba's sigil will vanish and the Heartless will be open for attack. If Sora has MP, then Water magic is perfect as it will not only stop its attack, but also deal extra damage. Blizzard can also work because of its freezing capabilities.

The Vermilion Samba is resistant to Aero, and immune to Fire.
