Kingdom Hearts II
When attacked, it counts down for self-detonation. Use Dodge Roll seconds before the explosion to lure surrounding enemies into it.
To play it safe, parry its tackles to make it lose its will to fight.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Prone to self-detonation, these small Heartless will begin a countdown to explosion if you deflect their head-butts with a block.
They can also be detonated on the spot using Fire magic.
Attacks
- Bullet Head-Butt: Shoots forward head-first
- Self-Destruct: KHII: Nine counts, then explodes. KH Days: 3 counts, then explodes.
Although these Heartless are easily ignored, they have only one attack besides their self-destruction. They will send themselves into a straight line head butt. Use Guard and you will block the attack, plus break their skull cap. This will make them stand still for the rest of the battle and they will not attack nor use their explosion. If you do not block the head butt, it will not damage you that much.
In KH Days, however, they will start to detonate if their Head-Butts are guarded. Also, if a character has the Fire Finish ability an does not kill the Minute Bomb with the finishing combo, it will immediately explode. If the Minute Bomb is frozen while the countdown is going, the countdown stops.
