Luxord is present as Xemnas introduces the Organization's fourteenth member, Xion. He regularly hangs out in the Grey Area, and will often team up with Roxas on missions to Wonderland. Luxord approaches all of his missions as games and tends to comment on them as such to Roxas, often leaving him puzzled with his metaphors.

Having shaken Sora and his companions with wily words, Luxord entertained himself by drawing them into a game-like battle.
He appears shocked when Xemnas announces at an Organization meeting the truth about Xion being a replica, and remarks, "If only the whispers from the top of the ladder carried to the bottom rung," before vanishing from Where Nothing Gathers. If Roxas talks to him before leaving on his mission, he remarks that "no game is complete without pawns", seemingly resigned to his own role as a pawn in the Organization.

Luxord appears with all of the other Organization members in the confrontation with Sora in Hollow Bastion and stands behind and to the left of Saïx.

*Organization XIII
Immediately after taunting Sora, the Organization returns to Where Nothing Gathers. In response to talk about making plans for the future, Luxord states his hope for the boy and his intention to lend a hand to determine Sora's fate. This causes Demyx to suggest his own method, much to Xigbar's chagrin, and after Xaldin chastises him, Luxord expresses disappointment, realizing that he needs to wait for his fun to begin.

Organization XIII's Number X.
After Saïx returns from the Battle of the 1000 Heartless, Luxord remarks how Sora is unable to stop the Organization's master plan, as events are already in motion. Xaldin tells Luxord that luck might not fall in his favor, and Luxord replies that the fun of gambling is in not knowing the outcome.

The Organization has hinted that not only do they know about the Keyblade, but they may know things about Sora himself. Are they playing mind games, or is there truth to their words?
Upon making second rounds to the worlds in search of Organization XIII's stronghold, Sora and co. join Jack Sparrow in Port Royal to find William Turner, who has gone missing while investigating the theft of the cursed pirate gold by a man in a black hood. They seek out Will using the Black Pearl, and find him on the Interceptor. As soon as they recover Will, Luxord appears on the Black Pearl with the cursed gold beside him, and greets Jack Sparrow. He reveals that he is at Port Royal to assess the value of the cursed gold to the Organization, and summons the Grim Reaper Heartless. After the Heartless is thrown overboard, Luxord invokes the right of parley before Jack can get off a shot with his pistol. He agrees to hand over the chest, but takes four medallions and gives them to his Gambler Nobodies, who vanish. This reactivates the curse on Jack, as well as placing it on the Grim Reaper.

Story
The Grim Reaper then knocks Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jack onto the Interceptor, and has the cannons of the Black Pearl destroy the ship. Sora and the others survive and track down the medallions, after which they head to Port Royal and defeat the Grim Reaper, lifting the curse on Jack. Even with Luxord's experiments having failed, he manages to bring the heart that the Grim Reaper was holding to Kingdom Hearts, and promptly flees.

Following Axel's death, Luxord attends a meeting at Where Nothing Gathers to discuss the former's fate after his sacrifice. He believes that Axel came out "a winner" in betting his existence, or lack thereof, on Sora. However, Xigbar and Saïx oppose Luxord's opinion, pointing out that his words contradict the foundation of their existence as Nobodies.

Luxord appears once more in Organization XIII's fortress in The World That Never Was. When Sora, Kairi, Riku, Donald, and Goofy enter the area where Luxord waits, Sora walks ahead of the rest. Materializing between Sora and his friends, Luxord uses his cards to remove Sora's allies from the area, and challenges Sora to a game involving time. Luxord fights against Sora, using a variety of tricks and games of luck with his playing cards, but in the end, Sora is able to wear Luxord's time down and defeat him. As Sora readies a finishing blow, Luxord raises his cards to shield himself, but Sora slices through the cards and finishes Luxord off. His last words are "How could you......Roxas?" before fading out.

After having returned to his human form, the real Organization XIII recreates him as the Nobody Luxord and re-inducts him into the Organization.

When Axel asked what, Xigbar replied that the world is moving, though, both Axel and Luxord were confused. But Xigbar refused to tell more, leaving them puzzled. Luxord commented about the original six members having been companions since before Organization XIII was formed and that he doesn't understand what they're planning. Grinning, Axel dropped the subject and the pair started to play cards again.
Luxord, wearing his black coat, appears alongside his fellow members of the real Organization XIII at Where Nothing Gathers. As the heroes advance, the Organization's allotted time expires and its members, including Luxord, retreat to their rightful points in time.

Roxas and Luxord often team up in Wonderland. This association with this world is more than likely thanks to the Queen of Hearts' card army. Luxord joins Roxas on several missions and stays in the Grey Area as well.

As Xigbar finishes observing Pete and Maleficent's search for the Black Box in Olympus, Luxord appears and presents him with a riddle in regards to the box's location. Deducing that Xigbar was the one who ordered him to search for the box, Luxord inquires on Xigbar's intentions, though Xigbar continues to feign ignorance. Unconvinced by his lies, Luxord throws a card towards Xigbar and questions him on the black box's sudden importance and his true identity, as he believes that he wishes to secure the black box in order to remove any connections to him with it. Though Xigbar gives no answer, Luxord relents, explaining he was content with being silent, before warping away.Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind

In the Keyblade Graveyard, Luxord appears with Marluxia, Larxene, and Demyx. Larxene asks if his role involved the mysterious Black Box that Xigbar had mentioned to them, though Luxord tells her that the box contains "hope" that the Organization needs. Having no success, just as Xemnas is about to reveal that he, along with Demyx, Marluxia, and Larxene, was initiated into both the first and second Organizations due to their connections to an ancient Keyblade legacy.
Hollow Bastion
Luxord appears with all of the other Organization members and stands behind and to the left of Saïx. He makes no contact with Sora. In fact, he isn't even seen again until Port Royal the second time through.
Port Royal
Upon making second rounds to the worlds in search of the Organization's stronghold, Sora once again allies with Jack Sparrow in Port Royal, where he learns that Will Turner has gone missing while investigating the theft of cursed pirate gold by a man in a black hood. They seek out Will on the Black Pearl and find him on the Interceptor.

Luxord appears on the Black Pearl after they have recovered Will, with the cursed gold beside him, greeting Jack Sparrow. He reveals that he is at Port Royal to assess the value of the cursed gold to the Organization and calls up Grim Reaper, a Heartless. After the Heartless is thrown overboard, Luxord invokes the right of parley before Jack can get off a shot with his pistol. He agrees to hand over the chest, but takes four medallions from it when he does so, sending them off to his Gambler Nobodies, who escape with them. This has the effect of returning the curse on Jack and tying his curse to Grim Reaper, who becomes cursed, as well. The Grim Reaper then knocks Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jack onto the Interceptor, and has the cannons of the Black Pearl destroy the ship. Sora and the others survive, and track down the medallions, and defeated the Grim Reaper back at Port Royal, lifting the curse on Jack. Even with Luxord's experiments having failed, he manages to bring the heart that the Grim Reaper was holding to Kingdom Hearts, and promptly flees.
Sometime after that, Luxord arrives in The Caribbean to be briefed by Vexen on the importance of a chest located somewhere in the world. Vexen wants it for scientific research, while Luxord only goes after it to fulfill his orders to collect any black box he discovers. To that end, Luxord parleys with Jack Sparrow to offer him whatever he wishes so long as he beats him in a race to Port Royal. Sora and Jack not only win the race but also manage to destroy Luxord's fleet of Heartless and board his ship. Reveling in his victory, Jack asks Luxord to bring him the chest on the Flying Dutchman, unwittingly revealing where the black box is. Luxord then casts the pirates off his vessel and goes after the ship of Davy Jones.

Where Nothing Gathers
During several additional scenes in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Luxord is featured with a prominent speaking role. Immediately after taunting Sora, the Organization returns to their meeting chamber. In response to talk about making plans, Luxord says that he'll "Pass out some cards.", meaning he intends to dabble around here and there, stirring things up to see what he can do. This inadvertently instigates a small argument between Xigbar and Demyx, and after Xaldin breaks it up, Luxord disappointedly remarks "There goes my entertainment."
Sora, Donald, and Goofy pursue Luxord, prompting him to summon a fleet of Heartless ships to combat them. Luxord manages to identify the Flying Dutchman when he sees Sora going into battle with it; despite Sora explaining that only Davy Jones' heart is inside the box, Luxord plans to collect it anyway to fulfill his orders. In the hope that he board the Flying Dutchman with less chaos, Luxord summons the Kraken to distract Sora and the pirates from their battle with Davy Jones. However, when Jack retrieves the chest first, Luxord tries to initiate parley but is interrupted by Jack who knocks him off the ship with his bad breath and into the whirlpool below. <!--Should there be mention that Luxord gave up pursuit of the chest after Vexen saw what was inside of it?-->

He is again seen just before Sora enters The World That Never Was, discussing Axel with the remaining members. He notes that Axel may have gained something by putting his life on the line to help Sora. When Xigbar reacts that, as Nobodies, they have no life to put on the line, Luxord replies: "Yes, Axel gambled with something he didn't have - and he probably won." He then adds with a smile: "Obviously a cheater."
Luxord is among the members of the real Organization XIII who stand beside Xehanort as he summons a labyrinth spanning the Keyblade Graveyard. He joins Xemnas, Marluxia, and Larxene in battling King Mickey until Sora intervenes. Shortly into the battle, Xemnas empowers Luxord and departs, allowing Luxord to trap Mickey in a card. He challenges Sora to one final game: to free Mickey, the hero must find Luxord hidden among a circle of cards. Sora finds and defeats Luxord, who rewards Sora with a wild card to help turn the tables. Sora asks to play with him again when they are normal humans, to which Luxord agrees. He fades away, leaving behind another card that explodes and frees Mickey.

Materializing between Sora and his friends, Luxord uses his cards to remove Sora's allies from the area, and challenges Sora to a game involving time. As Sora readies a finishing blow, Luxord raises his cards to shield himself, but Sora slices through the cards and finishes Luxord off. Before fading into darkness, Luxord utters in disbelief of his loss, and like many other Organization members, calls Sora by the name Roxas.
Luxord wears the usual all-black attire of Organization members, but his cloak is somewhat different than normal, sporting slightly pointed shoulders and very loose sleeves. Luxord's platinum blond hair is very short and worn in a Caesar cut, and he has blue eyes, which later turn golden as a vessel of Xehanort's heart. He is also the only member of Organization XIII to have facial hair, a goatee with the same blond color as his hair. Luxord wears five silver piercings on his ears; four helix piercings in the form of two hoops on each ear and one piercing shaped like the Nobody symbol dangling from one earlobe. The latter piercing hangs from his left ear in-game and his right in some artwork, indicating that both earlobes are pierced.

Personality
Personality
Luxord is a man of games and luck; his challenge to Sora and Jack to find the medallions has a game quality to it, and the Heartless he summons cannot be attacked unless all the coins are in the chest, giving a side-objective to the battle. He also uses games of chance in his own battle with Sora. However, his enjoyment for games can backfire on him, both in and out of battle. His enjoyment of The Game is further portrayed in his additional scenes in the Final Mix version of the game, which show him in an almost uncaring light - he seems to not be bothered as long as he can continue to gamble and see interesting things. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, much of Luxord's dialogue makes references to cards, games, and luck.

Luxord is also portrayed as a master of rhetoric, with an advanced vocabulary (for example, describing the Grim Reaper Heartless as "a veritable maelstrom of avarice", meaning endlessly greedy, using it to taunt his opponents). He also possesses a notably British accent, giving him an air of sophistication. Another interesting note is that, unlike most other members of the Organization, who banter with Sora in some fashion before fighting, when Luxord appears to him he calmly smiles and says "I'd rather we just skip the formalities", and begins the battle right away.

This somewhat contrasts his appearance in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, where he talks a good deal to Roxas on their missions and other members of the Organization.

Fighting Style
Luxord respects those with a talent for games; complimenting their skill regardless of who wins. Upon his second defeat, Luxord acknowledges Sora was a natural-born gambler, granting him a wild card that could "turn the tables" while accepting his offer to play cards again after Luxord is recompleted.

Luxord (Enemy)
Luxord uses his attribute, time, in unorthodox methods when compared to other Organization members. One might not even see his element as time at first glance. He shortens the odds originally by dispatching of Sora's companions before attacking Sora himself. Luxord does not have a HP bar; during the battle, Luxord and Sora each have a "time" bar that depletes over time and when they are damaged. The first to have theirs depleted loses the battle. This means that the player must watch Sora's HP and time gauges to make sure neither are emptied.

Weapon
Luxord is highly perceptive, deducing that his order to retrieve a black box did not come from Master Xehanort but rather Xigbar, and that said box likely has to do with his superior’s identity. Though he enjoys gambling, Luxord also talks about winning the “long game”, purposefully losing a bet against Jack Sparrow so that he may accidentally reveal the location of Davy Jones’ heart. These tactics, along with his granting of a wild card to Sora, imply that Luxord has machinations of his own amidst his time in Organization XIII acting as a pawn, similar to Xigbar and his work in the background.

Luxord's weapons are very flexible, both literally and figuratively. The gambler uses cards, called Fair Game, of varying sizes, some reaching likely more than ten feet in the air when stood on end. The back of each card has five Nobody symbols on it, while the opposite side resembles a clock (referencing Luxord's element of time) that has Nobody symbols as the minute and hour hands, and the Roman numerals for 1-12 for the clock numbers (the numeral for 13 is in the center, just under the clock hands). Luxord uses these cards the way that most members of the Organization use their element. He can turn himself into a giant card and hide among similar cards, turn his enemies into cards, throw flurries of razor-sharp cards at an enemy, and create defensive barriers. The Reaction Command "Flip" causes the cards to vanish, but some of them have a booby trap (represented by a symbol on the one side of the card) that "Flip" triggers. He can also use them as sleight of hand cover, or to disorient his enemies.

Oddly, most of the cards (that lack booby traps) Luxord uses in battle are blank on one side, while the ones he uses to "trap" Sora's companions bear the aforementioned clock design.
Like Xaldin, he speaks with a Received Pronunciation accent in the English localization.

Gambler Nobodies also use cards as their weapons, and have the ability to turn an enemy into a card after winning a "game". They also use dice, and have a similar ability to turn an enemy into a die.

He can blast his enemies with magic presumably of his element when they are far away, but he mainly uses his cards to fight them.

Playing as Luxord
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Luxord has a Limit Break called Jackpot, which causes him to summon cards that constantly change symbols. dsa momentarily pauses the cards to unleash an effect based on the visible symbols.
Mission Mode

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Luxord uses his playing cards for a strict crowd-control game, attacking multiple surrounding enemies. Via the Gear System Luxord can be customized along with all other playable characters, using wide-ranged combos that spread enemies apart.  During Jackpot, Luxord's Limit Break, he summons a card in front of him. While it is summoned, the card alternates between a cross and a flashing symbol similar to Roxas's pendant. Selecting the cross results in the card merely exploding, and Luxord will visibly flinch, whereas selecting the flashing symbol will create a few powerful energy blasts that follow a trail between Luxord and the target.  During Luxord’s Final Limit, Luxord summons two cards in front of him instead of one. The player now has three alternating symbols to choose from: double crosses, the flashing symbol and an additional red symbol or two large red symbols. The crosses cause the cards to explode as before, the flashing symbol and the red symbol create the exact same energy blasts as summoned by one card. When the two large red symbols are selected, Luxord will create more energy blasts than with one card, with the final blast being much bigger and more powerful.

Quotes
In Kingdom Hearts III, while in The Caribbean, Luxord proves to be a skilled captain, utilizing his ship to battle and race the Leviathan. Luxord also displays the ability to command the Kraken. In a tag-team battle with Marluxia and Larxene backing him up, Luxord is able to teleport them away in a swarm of cards when Sora strikes; thus forcing Sora to dodge their attacks and focus on finding him first.
"I surrender the chest with my humblest apologies."<br />

Trivia
Luxord apparently cannot seal an opponent as powerful as King Mickey into a card on his own, as it took a power boost from Xemnas to make him strong enough. Before his second demise, Luxord imbued a "wild card" with his remaining power and gifted it to Sora.
*All but four of Luxord's decks are named after the Major Arcana of tarot, and he is missing only "Wheel of Fortune" and "Judgment". They are replaced with "The Joker" and "Fair Game", terms from normal playing cards with the same basic symbolism.

*According to the Kingdom Hearts Character Report Volume 2, Luxord is Tetsuya Nomura's favorite member of Organization XIII.

Luxord uses these Cards the way that most members of Organization XIII use their element. He can turn himself into a giant Card and hide among similar Cards, turn his enemies into Cards, throw flurries of razor-sharp cards at an enemy, create defensive barriers, and at times by will can warp reality. The Reaction Command "Flip" causes the Cards to vanish, but some of them have a booby trap (represented by a symbol on the one side of the Card) that "Flip" triggers. He can also use them as sleight of hand cover, or to disorient his enemies.
*It is interesting to note that Luxord, a master of cards, was not named the Lord of Castle Oblivion. The irony is that the actions taken within Castle Oblivion are determined by the use of cards. The next member, Marluxia, was instead named Lord of Castle Oblivion. It is unknown why this is so. One possible explanation is Xemnas was aware of Marluxia's traitorous nature, and wanted to prove it, while Luxord is loyal to his cause.

*Though it may be coincidental, Luxord partially shares a name with the real-world Luxor casino. This may draw some inspiration for the gambler theme.

*Interestingly, Luxord's name is never actually spoken in Kingdom Hearts II. He shares this odd trait with Xigbar and, until Final Mix, Demyx.

*Luxord is one of only three bosses in Kingdom Hearts II to use the theme "The 13th Struggle," the others being Axel in Twilight Town and Riku in the Land of Dragons. The theme also plays while fighting alongside Axel in Betwixt and Between. "The 13th Struggle" only plays against Organization bosses that Sora/Roxas battles alone, excluding the Roxas and Xemnas boss battles.
Oddly, most of the Cards (that lack booby traps) Luxord uses in battle are blank on one side, while the ones he uses to "trap" Sora's companions bear the aforementioned clock design.

*Luxord's cards highly resemble the Map Card Random Joker. This is probably a high reference to Luxord as it only appears in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories which was released after Luxord's appearance in the series.
Gambler Nobodies also use Cards as their weapons and have the ability to turn an enemy into a Card after winning a "game". They also use Dice and have a similar ability to turn an enemy into a Die.

*The reverse side of Luxord's card(s) bears the image of an analog clock face, presumably in reference to his command of time.

—Luxord

Luxord, the Gambler of Fate (運命を賭す者 Unmei o Tosumono?), is Rank X within the original Organization XIII and a member of the real Organization XIII. He possesses the power of time manipulation and uses his ability to force his opponents to play timed games, with unfortunate consequences if they cannot learn the rules and lose. He commands the Gambler Nobodies.

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, along with the rest of Organization XIII, Luxord appears in it and is also a playable character in Mission Mode.

In Kingdom Hearts II, he harassed Sora and his friends in Port Royal, playing a game with them involving the cursed Aztec Treasure there. He later battles Sora alone in The World That Never Was, and is the third-to-last member of Organization XIII to fall.

In Kingdom Hearts III, he returns as a member of the Real Organization XIII.

Story[edit]

Between Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days[edit]

On an unknown world, Luxord's original persona became a Heartless, his strong will allowing his body to continue on as his Nobody, Luxord. He was later found by an unknown member and became the tenth member of Organization XIII.

This information is based on alternate scenes or materials and is not considered canon within the overall plot of the series.
In the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days novel, Luxord is shown beating Axel at a game of cards. Embarrassed, Axel challenges him for another game. At Axel's words, Luxord starts shuffling the cards, laughing, as Xigbar arrives. Luxord asks him for a game, but he refuses. The trio start to talk about Xemnas going out of the castle.

When Axel questions the latter, Xigbar replies that the world is moving, though Axel and Luxord are confused by this and Xigbar refuses to tell more, leaving them puzzled. Luxord comments about the original six members having been companions since before Organization XIII was formed and that he doesn't understand what they were planning. Axel drops the subject and the pair started to play cards again.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days[edit]

Luxord observes as Xion joins the Organization.

This information is based on alternate scenes or materials and is not considered canon within the overall plot of the series.
In the manga, Luxord eats a mushroom in Wonderland, which transforms him into a giant. He uses his cards to make a new castle for the Queen of Hearts, after Roxas destroyed the one she foolishly made of Shadow Globs.

Kingdom Hearts II[edit]

"You play the game quite well."
—Luxord
Luxord orders the destruction of the Interceptor while Sora and his friends are still aboard.

Luxord appears with all of the other Organization members in the confrontation with Sora in Hollow Bastion and stands behind and to the left of Saïx.

Luxord spirits away Sora's friends and challenges the Keyblade wielder to a game.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance[edit]

After having returned to his human form, the real Organization XIII recreates him as the Nobody Luxord and re-inducts him into the Organization.

Luxord, wearing his black coat, appears alongside his fellow members of the real Organization XIII at Where Nothing Gathers. As the heroes advance, the Organization's allotted time expires and its members, including Luxord, retreat to their rightful points in time.

Kingdom Hearts III[edit]

"A wild card. You've earned it. Hang on to it. Could turn the tables."
—Luxord
Luxord grills Xigbar about the importance of the Black Box.

Though Xigbar gives no answer, Luxord relents, explaining he was content with being silent, before warping away. Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind

Luxord traps Mickey and challenges Sora.

Design[edit]

Luxord (Fair Game) KHII.png

Personality[edit]

"I'd rather we just skip the formalities."
—Luxord to Sora before they begin to fight

Luxord is a man of games and luck; his challenge to Sora and Jack to find the medallions has an element of chance to it and the Heartless he summons cannot be attacked unless all the coins are in the chest, giving a side-objective to the battle. He also uses games of chance in his own battle with Sora. However, his enjoyment for games can backfire on him, both in and out of battle. His enjoyment of games is further portrayed in his additional scenes in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, which show him in an almost uncaring light—he seems to not be bothered as long as he can continue to gamble and see interesting things. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, much of Luxord's dialogue makes references to cards, games, and luck.

Luxord is also portrayed as a master of rhetoric, with an advanced vocabulary (for example, describing the Grim Reaper Heartless as " a veritable maelstrom of avarice", meaning endlessly greedy, using it to taunt his opponents). Unlike most other members of Organization XIII, who banter with Sora in some fashion before fighting, when Luxord appears to him he calmly smiles and says " I'd rather we just skip the formalities ", and begins the battle right away. This somewhat contrasts his appearance in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, where he talks a good deal to Roxas on their missions and other members of the Organization.

Luxord respects those with a talent for games; complimenting their skill regardless of who wins. Upon his second defeat, Luxord acknowledges Sora was a natural-born gambler, granting him a wild card that could "turn the tables" while accepting his offer to play cards again after Luxord is recompleted.

Like Xaldin, he speaks with a Received Pronunciation accent in the English localization.

Abilities[edit]

Luxord uses his attribute, time, in unorthodox methods when compared to other Organization XIII members. He shortens the odds originally by dispatching of Sora's companions before attacking Sora himself. Luxord does not have an HP bar; during the battle, Luxord and Sora each have a "time" bar that depletes over time and when they are damaged. The first to have theirs depleted loses the battle. This means that the player must watch Sora's HP and time gauges to make sure neither is emptied. He can blast his enemies with magic presumably of his element when they are far away, but he mainly uses his cards to fight them.

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Luxord has a Limit Break called Jackpot, which causes him to summon cards that constantly change symbols. A momentarily pauses the cards to unleash an effect based on the visible symbols.

Luxord apparently cannot seal an opponent as powerful as King Mickey into a card on his own, as it took a power boost from Xemnas to make him strong enough. Before his second demise, Luxord imbued a "wild card" with his remaining power and gifted it to Sora.

Weapon[edit]

Luxord uses Cards as his weapon, His signature Card stock is called Fair Game. Luxord's Cards come in of varying sizes, some reaching likely more than ten feet in the air when stood on end.

Oddly, most of the Cards (that lack booby traps) Luxord uses in battle are blank on one side, while the ones he uses to "trap" Sora's companions bear the aforementioned clock design.

Gambler Nobodies also use Cards as their weapons and have the ability to turn an enemy into a Card after winning a "game". They also use Dice and have a similar ability to turn an enemy into a Die.
