The Stingray is a pair of Arrowguns that can be wielded by Xigbar in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Stingray+.

Design[edit]

The body of the Stingray is a wide, black ring lined by spikes and divided into three sections. The barrel is pale gold and ridged. The handle and curved guard are both black, and the guard is lined by six black diamonds with pale gold edges. These diamonds flash blue, the color of the bullets, when Xigbar reloads. Its bullets produce blue sparks on contact with an enemy, but gold ones on contact with anything else.

This weapon may draw its name from the stingray, as the barrel is shaped like the barb of a stingray's tail. The name could also refer to the enemy from Final Fantasy V, which has the same name.

Gameplay[edit]

The Stingray's ground combo consist of four shots being fired diagonally at the ground followed by a back-flip, then four larger successive shots fired in a spread from left to right. The aerial combo consist of two shots being fired followed by a back-flip and two slightly larger shots. This weapon holds a thirty-six round magazine.
