The Counterweight is a pair of Arrowguns that can be wielded by Xigbar in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Counterweight+ and the Counterweight++.
Design[edit]
The body of a Counterweight arrowgun is a thin, black ring with gold inner edges and black spikes resembling those on the Nobody logo lining its outer edge. The barrel is gold, flat, triangular, and sword-like, with two thin spikes on either of its sides. The handle and guard are black and the guard is lined by six black diamonds with pale gold edges. The Counterweights bullets are blue and the diamonds flash this color when Xigbar reloads. They produce blue sparks on contact with an enemy and gold ones on contact with anything else.
A "counterweight" is a heavy object used to balance something, typically a crane or elevator.
Gameplay[edit]
In the ground combo, Xigbar will cross his arms and fire one shot from each gun followed by a backflip and the same spread as the Stingray arrowguns. The Aerial Combo starts with four shots, followed back a backflip and two more, slightly larger shots. This weapon has a thirty-six round magazine (forty-eight for Counterweight++).
