The Dual Head is a pair of Arrowguns that can be wielded by Xigbar in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Dual Head+.
Design[edit]
The body of a Dual Head Arrowgun is comprised of a grey and blue center and two curved, dark grey sides that fan outward. The barrel is quite short, black, and forked. The handle and guard are grey and the guard is lined by six dark grey diamonds with black edges. The diamonds flash yellow, the color of the bullets, when Xigbar reloads, and the bullets produce green sparks on contact with enemies and gold sparks on contact with anything else.
An enemy with a similar name, Dual Heads, appears as an enemy in Final Fantasy II. The name also references its two-pronged barrel.
Gameplay[edit]
The combo differs between the standard and plus version of the weapon. For the standard version, the basic ground attack consists of Xigbar combining the Arrowguns into a sniper rifle and firing three shots simultaneously in a wide arc. Normally, three of these attacks can be initiated in succession, with all shots being equally strong and carrying knockback. When executing an aerial attack, Xigbar flips up and stands upside down while firing three shots straight downward from his combined Arrowguns; this can be done twice in succession, again with all shots being equally strong and carrying knockback.
The plus version of the weapon again repeats the same attack three times for the ground combo, but now fire four shots in a spread, one each upwards, downwards, leftwards, and rightwards. The downwardly fired shot is stronger and carries knockback. The air combo can now be fired three times in succession and fired four shots instead of three. Again, one shot is stronger and carries knockback.
