In the data version of Castle of Dreams, the story of the original film is retold. This includes the stepsisters and Lady Tremaine abusing Cinderella, forcing Cinderella into doing chores as a scullery maid. This includes the events where each of the stepsisters were to try on the glass slipper, presented by the Grand Duke.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep[edit]
When a ball is held at the Castle of Dreams, all unmarried women are invited for the prince to find a bride. The two and Lady Tremaine attempt to keep Cinderella from going along by giving her endless chores to finish and preventing her from finding a suitable dress. When Ventus and Jaq make one for her, Anastasia and Drizella tear it apart, accusing Cinderella for stealing their materials to create her gown.
However, their plot failed when the Fairy Godmother makes a new dress for her and a pumpkin carriage to transport her to the ball. They are unable to identify Cinderella during the party as she is too far away from them to see her. They are jealous at having to watch the Prince dance with an unknown woman, as well as their hatred of the said woman, contributed to the summoning of several Unversed in the balcony above them, including the Symphony Master, which was defeated by Terra.
After the ball, Prince Charming asks the Grand Duke to search for Cinderella with the glass slipper.
