The Paladin is a set of Lances that can be wielded by Xaldin in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Paladin+.

Design[edit]

A Paladin lance's shaft is black in the center and silver at the ends, with the two sections divided by small, rose-colored rings. The lower blade is indigo with silver edges and shaped like an arrow cross. The upper blade is also indigo with silver edges, but longer and with a vaguely rectangular blade. It also has a diamond-shaped cut taken out of its center.

"Paladin" refers to one of the twelve peers of Charlemagne's court.

Gameplay[edit]

Paladin's ground combo starts with a sideways slash using one lance, followed by a downward diagonal slash using the other lance. Xaldin then swings his lances from the same starting point upward to two far points in a "V" formation, and ends the combo with a scissor-like attack, where all six of his lances thrust forward, cross each other and emit "X"-shaped shockwaves.

The aerial combo consists of a downward diagonal slash using one lance, followed by a thrust of all six lances forwards at once in a pointed, star-like shape.
