The Goliath is an Axe Sword that can be wielded by Lexaeus in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Lexaeus wields this weapon when he has the Skill Gear attached. It can be upgraded to Goliath+.

Design[edit]

The Goliath's blade is very large and roughly triangular in shape, with a large, triangular gap in its center, causing it to resemble a large letter "A". It is predominantly gold in color, with red-orange edges. The counterweight is rather large, and is the same gold color as the blade, with red-orange stripes on its corners. The top of its handle is yellow, while the rest of it is a smooth, black rod with a gold spike set in its pommel.

In Judeo-Christian mythology, Goliath was a Philistine giant who was slain by King David when he still a boy. Because of this, the word "goliath" has become a word that refers to any person or thing of giant size. "Herculean Strength" refers to the Greek hero Hercules, and his incredible strength.

Gameplay[edit]

The Goliath's normal ground combo starts with a one-handed upward diagonal slash and ends with a powerful, two-handed downward slash. The Y combo can be activated after the first upward slash, and consists of another one-handed upward slash, followed by a leap and a powerful, two-handed downward slam.

The Goliath's aerial combo consists of a two-handed upward slash followed by a powerful, two-handed downward slam.
