The Earthshine is an Axe Sword that can be wielded by Lexaeus in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Earthshine+.
DesignEdit
The Earthshine has a short, blue-grey handle with a bronze spike set in its pommel. The counterweight is also rather small, and is grey with thick, red corners. Its blade is wide and curved downward sharply from the tip. The curve's outer edge has three large, circular notches taken out of it. The entirety of the blade is black and has red edges.
"Earthshine" is an astronomical term referring to light reflected on the Earth that is visible on the moon.
GameplayEdit
The Earthshine's ground combo starts with a quick, one-handed thrust that resembles a guard or block-like motion, followed by a one-handed upward diagonal slash and a very quick upward slash. These moves are repeated a second time before the combo ends with a powerful, two-handed downward slam.
The aerial combo consists of a two-handed upward slash followed by a one-handed sideways slash.
