The Lunar Eclipse is a Keychain for Roxas's and Xion's Keyblades that appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Lunar Eclipse+.

Design[edit]

The Lunar Eclipse has a black handle and a rectangular, violet guard that becomes pale yellow toward its bottom, and has thin, black edges. The guard has two small, rectangular spikes on each of its upper corners. The bottom of the guard is completely white, and does not have black edges. The shaft of the Keyblade is wide, silver, and has concave, black edges. The tip of the weapon is flat and the teeth are comprised by three short, flat-tipped spikes on one side of the blade. There is an black diamond at the base of the blade, and a thin, vertical line of the same color lines the entire blade. The Keychain token is a violet semi-circle with a white spike in its center. The Lunar Eclipse is vaguely reminiscent of Terra's Earthshaker.

A Lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon.

Gameplay[edit]

The ground combo starts with a horizontal slash to the right, followed by a slight jump and a spinning slash from the right side, and ends with a thrust. However, you can press Y and instead of the thrust you will do the same motions as the Silent Dirge and Total Eclipse Keyblades. The aerial combo is a vertical downward slash, followed by a rush forward, a slightly angled spinning slash on the right side, and ends with the same spinning slash on the left side.
