The Black Guards are antagonists that appear in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. They originated from the Disney film, Tron: Legacy.
Development
In the Jump Festa 2012 trailer, Riku is mounted on a light cycle while fighting a Black Guard in The Grid. In a scan, Riku is seen being held by several guards.
Appearance
They all wear black suits with orange circuitry to show they've been reprogrammed by CLU. They wear helmets to prevent originality. Unlike Rinzler, they are all unifrom in appearance.
