- "What a romantic story..."
- —Olette regarding Sora and Kairi
Olette is a resident of Twilight Town who appears in Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts III. She is a fifteen-year-old girl, and is a friend of Hayner and Pence and the virtual version of herself is very close friends with Roxas.
Story
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Olette and her friends meet Roxas as he explores Twilight Town, and Roxas envies the trio for having hearts, emotions, and friends.
After Roxas is captured by Riku and placed within the Simulated Twilight Town, a digital version of Olette befriends the Nobody.
Kingdom Hearts II
Olette, or rather her virtual version, is introduced with Roxas in the Simulated Twilight Town.
Later, in reality, the real Olette meets Sora, Donald and Goofy. The trio of friends then go to the Train Station to see Sora, Donald, and Goofy off, because they felt like they knew the Keyblade wielder.
Later in the game, Olette, Hayner, and Pence meet Kairi, who came to Twilight Town after Axel came for her on Destiny Islands. Eventually, Axel comes to Twilight Town and kidnaps Kairi again.
Upon Sora's revisit, she told him the situation about Kairi. She noticed Sora was in possession of a Munny Pouch identical to her own, which is the Munny Pouch Roxas was given by the virtual Olette. The pieces began to come together and the group theorize the existence of a parallel Twilight Town.
Olette and her two friends go to the Old Mansion in search of Kairi, where they meet Sora again. After exploring the mansion, they discover the Simulated Twilight Town and help Sora and his friends enter the virtual world.
Kingdom Hearts III
Appearance
Olette has bright green eyes, light skin, and brown hair. Her hair sticks out on the sides and two strands of hair fall from either side of her head, draping over her shoulders.
In Kingdom Hearts II, her clothing consists of an orange tank-top with a white floral design at the bottom, khaki-colored capri pants, and orange socks with white hems. She also wears cream shoes with black and yellow accents and black laces. Olette also wears a beaded, sky blue bracelet on her right wrist and a black necklace decorated with a spherical, sky blue charm.
In Kingdom Hearts III, she wears a redesigned version of her past outfit. The floral pattern on her tank-top is gone and it is pure black with stitch-like vertical orange lining. Her shorts have a plaid pattern with a primarily red-and-black background with small vertical orange stripes and small horizontal blue stripes. Her socks and shoelaces are red and her shoes are black and grey. Her bracelet is red-and-black and her necklace is red.
Personality
Olette is a kind and caring girl. She dislikes having to choose between her friends; virtual Olette chooses to root for both Hayner and Roxas during the Struggle tournament. The real Olette shows an interest in Kairi and Sora's "romantic" love story. However, when Axel kidnaps Kairi from The Usual Spot, easily shrugging off Hayner and Pence's weak attempts to throw him out, she only makes a furtive attempt to block him before cowering.
Olette is shown to enjoy doing things for the group, such as buying them all ice cream or sewing a decorated Munny Pouch for them to hold their group savings, in both the real and virtual Twilight Town. Virtual Olette encourages her friends to get their summer assignment done despite the others' reluctance to work. She enjoys shopping, and virtual Olette once, in Pence's own words, "dragged" him along.
