Attacks and abilities
While other games in the Kingdom Hearts series include light-based abilities and attacks, such as Faith or Salvation, the damage they inflict is usually Neutral.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance
Light attacks are used almost exclusively by Sora and certain Dream Eaters, both Spirits and Nightmares.

Light Resistance
{|class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed" style="width:80%"
Light Resistance is a stat that appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, reducing damage taken from Light attacks. Sora and Riku may increase their Light Resistance by equipping the Light Screen ability (see above). Dream Eaters have a natural resistance or weakness to Light, and Spirits will gain a boost in Light Resistance if certain Deck Commands are added to their recipes, as detailed below:

Dream Eaters
Weakness and Resistance
sec-stub
Party members
Certain Dream Eaters can deal Light-type damage. Dream Eaters that use Light-element attacks are generally resistant to Light damage. Light-element attacks tend to be effective against dark-themed enemies.
The Light Screen ability lowers the damage taken from Light attacks by 10% for each Light Screen installed, up to a maximum of 5.

This article is about the gameplay element.
You may be looking for the plot element.

Light (ホーリー/光 Hōrī/Hikari?, lit. "Holy/Light") is an element that appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and Kingdom Hearts Dark Road. It is opposed to Dark.

While other games in the Kingdom Hearts series include light-based abilities and attacks, such as Faith or Salvation, the damage they inflict is usually Neutral.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, the Light element is exclusive to enemies. Enemies can use Light-type attacks to inflict the Radar Zap status effect, which party members can resist.

Origin

Holy is a recurring element in the Final Fantasy series. It is the opposing element of Dark. The Holy spell is often the only Holy-element magic available, as well as the only offensive White Magic spell, although there are also a number of weapons and skills that inflict Holy damage.
