Story

Kingdom Hearts III

The planets have aligned over Olympus, and with it, Hades sets into motion his master plan: releasing the four Titans - the Tornado Titan being one of them - onto Olympus. After they wreak havoc in Olympus and leave it in ruins, Hades brings the Tornado Titan, the Lava Titan and the Ice Titan into the Realm of the Gods atop Mount Olympus. The Lava and Ice Titans enclose Zeus in a cooled lava cone of their own making, while Hades smugly watches from Zeus's throne, saying that he now calls the shots.

Before Hades can do much more, however, he is confronted by Sora, Donald, Goofy and Hercules, who fight both the Lava and Ice Titans together. After the two of them are subdued, they confront the Tornado Titan, who uses the powers of the defeated Lava and Ice Titans.

Finally, when all the Titans are defeated and Hercules frees Zeus from his prison, Hercules grabs the Tornado Titan and sucks up the other Titans. He then swings all four of them into space, causing a massive explosion.

Appearance

Strategy

While Sora fights the Ice and Lava Titans, the Tornado Titan occasionally blows Sora's party away from them. After they are both defeated, the Tornado Titan is fought directly. It can hurl debris at Sora which can be blocked. It will eventually suck up Sora, temporarily seperating him from Donald, Goofy and Hercules. As Sora dives towards the Tornado Titan, it will shoot lots of debris and fireballs at him, and upon using a dive attack, Sora is in a floating state while the Tornado Titan can appear in three different spots. If in the center, it will hurl debris as usual. If above the Ice Titan, it will create a gust of ice. If above the Lava Titan, it will send fireballs raining down. All of these attacks can be easily avoided by airstepping towards a glowing piece of debris very close to it, and will even allow Sora to land a few hits on it.

Origin

The Tornado Titan first appears in Disney's 1997 animated feature, Hercules, voiced by Corey Burton. Known in Disney canon as "Stratos," he wreaks havoc eons before the events of the film, along with his fellow Titans. The Titans' rampage is stopped by Zeus, however, and they are all imprisoned in a cage of lightning deep beneath the sea. Eighteen years after the birth of Hercules, Hades, the Lord of the Dead, steals the young hero's godly strength and uses his power to unleash Lythos and the other Titans. Hades, playing off of the Titans' lust for vengeance against Zeus, then proceeds to use the gigantic creatures to take over Mount Olympus, as it was foretold to him long ago in a prophecy made by the three Fates.
