The Titan Cup (タイタンカップ Taitan Kappu ) is the third tournament at the Underdrome in Kingdom Hearts II, and all of the enemies within are set at level 41[KH II]/45[KH II FM]. In this tournament, only Sora is allowed to participate. Although, he can use Summons even alone. It also features a "Key Points" gauge, which is depleted as Sora takes damage. It can be unlocked after completing second visits to other worlds after the Battle of the 1000 Heartless.
The Titan Paradox Cup (裏タイタンカップ Ura Taitan Kappu ) is a harder form of the Titan Cup. It can be unlocked by leveling up all Summons to level 5 and unlocking Cerberus Paradox Cup, and it can be accessed by talking to Hades in his chamber.
Strategy[edit]
Throughout the entire cup, Sora must survive on his allotment of 500 Key Points, which act as a damage gauge. Unlike the HP gauge, the Key Points gauge can't be refilled, so Sora must avoid being hit as much as possible in order to survive to the final match. To make this even more difficult the enemies in the cup are adept at dealing large amounts of damage, so if Sora does get hit, his Key Points will be quickly drained away. Even worse, large rocks will fall from the ceiling during rounds 5 through 10, and can take off as much as twelve Key Points per hit.
In the final round, the player must battle Hercules. When Hercules pulls his arm back, he is winding up for a punch, and when he begins to glow gold, he is getting ready to unleash a devastating attack. Sora should attack Hercules continuously until he gives off one of these tells, at which point he should try to get away as fast as possible.
Jiminy's Challenge Strategy[edit]
In order to complete the Titan Cup challenges in Jiminy's Journal, Sora must obtain 5000 points for Titan Cup and 10000 points for Titan Paradox Cup while completing the cups. Like in the other cups, enemies drop orbs when defeated accordingly to as many hits you took to defeat it. A small orb gives one point, while a big orb gives 5. Because summons are enabled, the most effective way to collect the required points is to activate Stitch's Ohana! limit, then use "Ukelele" as many times as possible before finishing with "Blast". If you have low HP, Stitch will keep using Ukelele by itself. This way, you can get enough points in a few rounds. Just be sure that all enemy's are visible in the camera. Peter Pan's Journey's End is also very useful. But remember to use the Tiny Fairy attack and to activate the Limit when there are lots of enemies on the field. Both methods are very useful. While Stitch's can make enough points in a few rounds, it takes more time than Peter's. In both scenarios, the Wishing Lamp Keyblade is highly recommended for its Jackpot ability, which increases the drop rate of orbs.
