Tigger's Vegetable Spree
Tigger’s Vegetable Spree (ティガーのベジタブルファーム Tigā no Bejitaburu Fāmu , lit. "Tigger's Vegetable Farm") is a mini-game that appears in Kingdom Hearts III. It is first played when helping Rabbit with his vegetable garden in 100 Acre Wood, and is able to be played again after clearing the world by interacting with the sign in front of the vegetable garden.
Story[edit]
Mechanics[edit]
When playing for the first time, the goal is to collect 500 vegetables. When playing later, there’s a timer in the top right with 100 seconds on it, which temporarily stops when harvesting vegetables.
While playing Tigger’s Vegetable Spree, the goal is to get points by collecting vegetables. The player collects vegetables by using the left stick to select a vegetable in the front and pressing and holding . The player can release to replace up to eight vegetables in the direction indicated by the arrows with the one in front of Sora. If there aren’t enough vegetables in that direction, it will ricochet off the fence. If there’s a group of five or more vegetables, it will get collected for points, with the other vegetables shifting forward and getting replaced. Any groups of five or more vegetables that arise afterwards will also be collected, and each group will increase how big the chain is. Once there are no more groups of five or more, the timer will start again and the player can select another vegetable.
After the player gets five chains of any size, Rabbit will harvest all of the type of vegetable indicated by the sign above the large wooden bucket. This is indicated by the small wooden buckets being filled up. After Rabbit harvests the vegetables, the five wooden buckets will be replaced, and the large wooden buckets sign will change to a different vegetable.
As you harvest vegetables, a gauge under Tigger will fill up, first with blue and then with yellow. The player can press to use Tigger, and he will bounce around the fenced area collecting vegetables for 20 points each. If he is used once, either with the blue gauge or the yellow gauge, the player gets an additional bonus of 500. If he is used twice in a row once the yellow gauge is filled, the player gets an additional bonus of 1200. The additional bonuses stack at the end. Each gauge takes 4000 points to fill, and the amount of gauge filled depends on the number of vegetables Rabbit collects, and the current chain.
