The Panacea is an item introduced in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be used to remove negative status effects from one target.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, a Panacea is an item panel that removes all negative status effects.
In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, a Panacea is an item command that removes all negative status effects. One slot in the Command Deck can hold three Panaceas, with a memory consumption of 10%.
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, a Panacea is an item command that removes all negative status effects. One slot in the Command Deck can hold three Panaceas.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, a Panacea is an item command that removes all negative status effects. One slot in the Command Deck can hold three Panaceas. A Panacea grants +1 to maximum Affinity level when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.
In Kingdom Hearts III, a Panacea removes all negative status effects from one party member, and makes them immune to status effects for 1 minute, telegraphed by a blurry bubble surrounding the target.

Etymology[edit]
A panacea is a fictional medicine that was supposedly a cure-all that could extend one's lifespan. It, in turn, got its name from the Greek goddess of healing, Panacea.
