The High Roller's Secret is a deck of Cards that can be wielded by Luxord in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It represents Luxord's personality.
Development[edit]
High Roller's Secret was originally planned to be a banknote with a value of 10 and a portrait depicting Luxord's face in its center.[1]
Design[edit]
A "card" from the High Roller's Secret deck is shaped like a four-leaf clover. It has the four distinctive, heart-shaped leaves of a clover and is colored in shades of light green.
High Roller's Secret is one of only four of Luxord's weapons whose name is not drawn from one of twenty-two cards that make up a Tarot deck's Major Arcana. The others are The Joker, Fair Game, and Finest Fantasy 13. Instead, its name is drawn from the superstition that four-leaf clovers are blessed with good luck.
The High Roller's Secret represents Luxord's reliance on luck and chance to assure victory.
Gameplay[edit]
High Roller's Secret's normal ground combo starts with two narrow sprays of "cards" forwards and ends with an upward spiral of "cards". The -Combo can be activated after the second attack, and consists of Luxord performing a spinning leap, surrounded in an upward spiral of "cards", followed by riding a larger version of one the "cards" like a surfboard while performing a forward 360° spinning attack with larger versions of the "cards" held in each hand.
