The Deep Freeze (リフリジレイター Rifurijireitā?, lit. "Refrigerator") is a Shield that can be wielded by Vexen in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Deep Freeze+.

Design

The Deep Freeze shield is comprised of four teardrop-shaped pieces. The top and side pieces are navy blue with magenta edges. The bottom piece is a bit larger and more angular than the other pieces, but it shares the navy blue center and magenta edges. All of the pieces are held together by a white ring with four spikes along the outer edge. There is also a small, white diamond in the middle of the shield.

A deep freeze is a method for storing food for conservation. It is also a condition of being held in temporary suspension or inactivity.

Gameplay

Deep Freeze's ground combo begins with an upward thrust, throwing the shield out of his hands. When it returns to him, he follows with a sharp jab to the left, and finishes by thrusting his shield in front of him.

Its aerial combo begins with a sharp upward slash, and finishes with a 180° spin move, coming to rest in front of Vexen.
