Story[edit]
Kingdom Hearts III[edit]
By the time Jack Sparrow, Sora, and the rest of the group meet at Davy Jones' Locker, Beckett has already obtained the heart of Davy Jones and is controlling the Flying Dutchman. Elizabeth Swann mentions he is trying to control the ocean. The group decides to find Beckett and obtain the heart to help Jack with his cursed debt.
After Jack's group is separated by the Heartless, Jack manages to find Beckett. Jack negotiates with Beckett aboard the latter's ship, the Endeavour. Beckett wants Jack to divulge information about the Brethren Court, such as where they will meet and their plans. In exchange, Beckett claims he can guarantee Jack's freedom, give him fair compensation and square his debt with Davy Jones.
On a small island, Beckett has Davy Jones and William Turner by his side. The three of them meet with Elizabeth, Jack and Hector Barbossa. Beckett is thankful that Jack has brought him two pirates, although Jones still does not consider Jack's debt to be paid. Elizabeth tries to exchange Will's slavery for Jack's which works. Beckett threatens the Brethren with death before leaving, prompting Elizabeth to threaten him back.
After Davy Jones is defeated and Will becomes the captain of the Flying Dutchman, Beckett's ship is seen once more in the midst of a naval battle. The Endeavour is sandwiched between both the Black Pearl and the Flying Dutchman, and is swiftly sunk by a salvo from the latter two ships. As the Endeavour sinks, Beckett is seen one last time, repeating the words he had previously said to Jack in their negotiations, "It's just good business."
Design[edit]
Beckett wears a white wig with rolls on the sides of his head. He wears a black hat, a long dark grey coat with gold edges, a dark green shirt underneath, and black boots.
Personality[edit]
Beckett is a manipulative and hostile man who despises the Brethren Court of pirates. As mentioned by Elizabeth, he is a power-hungry man who wants to rule and control the seas, as well as control Jack and Jones in order to do so.
