"Blast Away!" is a musical composition by Yoko Shimomura that appears in the Kingdom Hearts series. The piece has three different variations, titled "Blast Away! -Gummi Ship I-," "Blast Away! -Gummi Ship II-," and "Blast Away! -Gummi Ship III-." It is primarily used in the Gummi Ship mini-game, and it is also a playable song in the Ice Cream Beat mini-game.

Kingdom Hearts Memorial Music Box[edit]

The Kingdom Hearts Memorial Music Box website features "Blast Away -Gummi Ship I-" as one of eight tracks from the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX soundtrack. However, when the song is selected, "Blast Away -Gummi Ship III-" erroneously plays in its place. The song is represented by the Gummi Ship and is accompanied by cutscene images and quotes related to the Gummi Ship and Disney allies.

Kingdom Hearts Collaboration: Gummi Ship Campaign[edit]

The Final Fantasy Record Keeper × Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] Collaboration Event featured a web-based minigame designed around the Gummi Ship named Kingdom Hearts Collaboration: Gummi Ship Campaign. It had two levels, each with an Easy Mode and Hard Mode. The Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX version of "Blast Away! -Gummi Ship I-" played during both versions of each level.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX version of "Blast Away -Gummi Ship II-" appears as a music track used in stages. It is also heard during the Mr. Sakurai Presents video presentation on Sora, where it is played while Masahiro Sakurai is describing Sora's attributes and his alternative costumes, and when making the announcement of the Kingdom Hearts games releasing on the Nintendo Switch. It is also used for Sora's Classic Mode credits, which similarly features the player's chosen character flying through a colorful area while shooting at targets.
