Kingdom Hearts Re:coded Gummiship Studio was an online flash game available through Facebook. It is a modified recreation of Kingdom Hearts Gummiship Studio from Kingdom Hearts Mobile. The game was made to promote the then-upcoming Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and gain new members for the North American Square Enix website, and it is not canon to the series in any way.
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded Gummiship Studio has been discontinued. Because it was only accessible via Facebook, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded Gummiship Studio cannot be easily preserved like other discontinued Kingdom Hearts flash games, making the game lost media.
Gameplay[edit]
The basic gameplay of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded Gummiship Studio is identical to KH Gummiship Studio, itself based on the SameGame style of puzzle games. The goal of the game is to pop the same-colored Gummies to achieve the target score and advance to the next stage. There are five colors of Gummi blocks: blue, red, orange, green and black.
There are four special Item Gummies that can activate special powers. An Item Gummi can spawn at the start of a new stage and is added to the player's inventory when it is matched with same-colored Gummies. Up to one of each kind of Item Gummi can be stocked at the same time. In addition, making ten matches will charge up the Keyblade ability, which can be used at any time once the gauge is filled.
- Keyblade: Eliminates a single Gummi.
- Change Gummi: Interchanges two vertically aligned Gummis (the cursor is on the bottom.)
- Thunder Gummi: Eliminates a single column of Gummis.
- Meteor Gummi: Eliminates all Gummis as the color of the Gummis where the cursor is set.
- Cross Gummi: Change the surrounding Gummis (above/below/left/right) to the color of the center Gummi.
