I haven't quite got the fine points down, like...when, or where... It just kinda kicks in whenever it wants to.

Personality

Origin

Kristoff Bjorgman first appeared in the 2013 Disney film Frozen, voiced by Jonathan Groff. He is a combination of Kai and the robber girl from Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen. As a boy, Kristoff and his reindeer Sven would tag along with ice harvesters as they harvest ice. One night, however, Kristoff notices King Agnarr and Queen Iduna racing through the woods, the young princess Elsa leaving a trail of ice, and follows them. Eventually, he and Sven stumble upon the trolls' homeland, and are subsequently adopted by one of the trolls, Bulda.

Thirteen years later, Kristoff has become a successful ice harvester. His business is affected when Elsa's powers go out of control and freeze all of Arendelle, forcing him to go to Oaken's to get supplies. There, he encounters Anna, but is thrown out by Oaken for calling him a crook. He and Sven decide to spend the night at a nearby barn, but Anna, having purchased Kristoff's tools, convinces him to lead her to Elsa.
