La Cité des Cloches, (Fra: "The City of Bells") (ラ・シテ・デ・クローシュ Ra Shite de Kurōshu?) is a world from Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It is a world submerged in sleep that must be awoken. It is based on Walt Disney's 1996 feature film The Hunchback of Notre Dame. This world is set in Paris and is ruled by Judge Claude Frollo.

Due to Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance not containing allies besides Spirits, La Cité des Cloches is one of the few Disney-based worlds that has no world-exclusive ally.

Locations

Recent images released from the 2011 Tokyo Game Show and Famitsu show that Riku will be able to battle within the cathedral, on the top of it between the bell towers and in the courtyard below.

Trivia

  • La Cité des Cloches appeared before it was even announced to appear in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, in the non-canon comic, El Cetro y el Reino, where Quasimodo, Esmeralda, Laverne, and Judge Claude Frollo appear.
  • La Cité des Cloches is also notable for being the very first world in the Kingdom Hearts series with a non-English name.
