Design
Ian is a slender, blue-skinned elf with blue, curly hair and brown eyes. He wears a red flannel shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers. He carries a wooden staff with an orange gem embedded at its tip.
Origin
Iandore "Ian" Lightfoot first appeared as the main protagonist of the Disney/Pixar film Onward, voiced by Tom Holland. A shy, nervous teenager, Ian grew up having never known his late father Wilden until his 16th birthday, where his mother Laurel gives him and his older brother Barley a staff, a phoenix gem, and instructions to cast a spell to resurrect him for a day. Ian learns that he has a natural gift for magic and tries to resurrect his father, but only succeeds in resurrecting his legs, forcing him and Barley to embark on a quest to retrieve another gem to finish the job.
