I haven't quite got the fine points down, like...when, or where... It just kinda kicks in whenever it wants to.

Origin

Daisukenojo "Beat" Bito is a character from Square Enix's The World Ends with You. Beat is a harsh, reckless, and rather dense, though he has a heart of gold. He cares very much for his little sister (and partner in the Reaper's Game) Rhyme, who constantly keeps Beat's rash attitude in check. He first shows up with Rhyme to help Neku and Shiki as players, and formed an alliance. However, over the course of the Game, Rhyme is erased, due to her taking an attack meant for Beat. Left without a partner, Beat joins the Reapers and often appears to challenge Neku and Joshua to fight during Neku's second week. He eventually becomes Neku's partner during his third Reaper's Game. His voice actor is Crawford Wilson.
