I haven't quite got the fine points down, like...when, or where... It just kinda kicks in whenever it wants to.

Prankster's Paradise is a placeholder name for a world set to appear in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, a world submerged in sleep that needs to be awoken. It is based on Pinocchio.

Story

Kingdom Hearts

At one point, Prankster's Paradise is attacked by Heartless led by Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and subsequently destroyed. The only known survivors are Pinocchio, Geppetto, Jiminy Cricket, Cleo and Monstro. Following "Ansem's" demise, the world is apparently not restored, but submerged in sleep.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

A recent issue of V-Jump magazine features Pinocchio and Jiminy inside Stromboli's cage, with Pinocchio's nose having grown apparently due to lies. They claim that they are in a circus train trapped within Monstro. The same issue also features a profile of Pinocchio with his trademark donkey ears and tail, which he acquired in Pleasure Island for bad behaviour. In all cases, Pinocchio appears to have reverted to puppet form, but this has yet to be explained, since Pinocchio was shown to have become a real boy at the end of the first game.

Characters

  • Monstro and Stromboli are mentioned, but it is unknown if they will appear.

Trivia

  • Prankster's Paradise was originally meant to appear in Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days with Pinocchio as a real boy, but was removed due to time constraints. Sprites of several characters are in the game's coding.
  • Prankster's Paradise will be the second featured world based on Pinocchio, the first being Monstro, even though Monstro himself is not essentially a real world.
