Water is an element that appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts III. It embodies the power of water and is opposed to Thunder.
Water is an element that appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts III, and Kingdom Hearts Dark Road. The Water element is associated with the Damage Drain, Submerge, and Cloud status effects.

Attacks and abilities
In other games, attacks involving Water usually deal Blizzard-type damage, like Dumbo's Splash or Demyx's attacks in Kingdom Hearts II.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance
There are no Water-type Deck Commands available to Sora or Riku, even though certain Dream Eaters can deal Water-type damage. However, linking with Spirits in the party allow access to various Water-based attacks.

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, the Water element can only be used by enemies. It inflicts the Damage Drain status effect, which party members can resist.

Weakness and Resistance
Party members
Unlike in other games, Water Resistance does not reduce the damage from Water-type attacks, but lowers the chance of being Damage Drained. Demyx has an innate resistance to Water, while some Ring Panels provide Water Resistance when equipped.

Water Resistance
{|class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed" style="width:80%"
Water Resistance is a stat that appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts III, reducing damage taken from Water attacks. In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Sora and Riku may increase their Water Resistance by equipping the Water Screen ability (see above). In Kingdom Hearts III, Water Resistance can be raised by equipping armor.
|style="border:1px solid"|<h4>Enemies</h4>

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Water Resistance only protects against the Damage Drain status, not against Water damage.

This article is about the element.
You may be looking for the spell.

Water (水/ウォータ Mizu/Wōta?) is an element that appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts III, and Kingdom Hearts Dark Road. The Water element is associated with the Damage Drain, Submerge, and Cloud status effects.

In other games, attacks involving Water usually deal Blizzard-type damage, like Dumbo's Splash or Demyx's attacks in Kingdom Hearts II.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, the Water element can only be used by enemies. It inflicts the Damage Drain status effect, which party members can resist.
