"La Pace" (Ita: "Peace") is a musical piece composed by Yoko Shimomura that is used in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories.

Appearances

"La Pace" is used mainly in Sora's Story, often playing after defeating a world's boss. The piece plays only once during Riku's story.

Composition

"La Pace" is approximately one minute and twenty-eight seconds long and plays at a tempo of 56 beats per minute. It has a time signature of 4/4 time and is written in the key of Bb [B flat] Major for the entire piece. "La Pace" does not have an introduction or conclusion, allowing for smooth transitions between loops. Each loop is eight measures long, lasting around thirty-five seconds each. The instrumentation consists of: strings using pizzicato, xylophone, vibraphone, choir, and harp.
