The primary melody of "Skyward Striker" is taken from "Battle (Act 2)" from Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia, likewise composed by Takeharu Ishimoto. The notes are transposed to a different key, and the supporting instrumentation has been altered, but the piano melody is identical in both pieces.
