The KO Kabuto's Japanese name is derived from "horn" ( Tsuno?). "KO" is the abbreviated form of the phrase "knock out." Kabuto (?) means "helmet" and is usually used in reference to Japanese rhinoceros beetles (カブトムシ kabutomushi?).

As a Spirit, the KO Kabuto has a green body with a blue head and blue arms. It has a green shell, and yellow and orange what appears to be "flowers" on each arm, white claws, and yellow "palms". It has black legs, with yellow and orange feet. Its nose is a giant cannon, which has ocean wave designs on the side. Similar ones can be found under its arms. The cannon is blue, blending to yellow, then orange at the end. The Spirit Dream Eater emblem is located on its chest.
