Fire, Fira, and Firaga are a series of magic introduced in Kingdom Hearts. They utilize the element of fire and are associated with the Blazing material. In all of its appearances, Fire unleashes flames to incinerate foes, inflicting Fire-type damage; however, the specific execution of the spell differs between games. It is the first spell introduced in the series.
In Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- and Kingdom Hearts III, Firaza, also translated as Firaja, appears as an even more powerful tier.
StoryEdit
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final MixEdit
Aqua casts Firaga to repel the Dark Hide's attack.
Kingdom Hearts Melody of MemoryEdit
Kairi casts Firaga when battling the memory of Master Xehanort, only for the elderly Keyblade Master to dodge the attack.
MechanicsEdit
Kingdom HeartsEdit
In Kingdom Hearts, Fire is offensive magic that allows Sora to launch a fireball with slight homing properties at a single enemy. Due to its wide flight arc, it may be difficult to hit fast-moving targets at long range, but it can be fired in rapid succession especially if set as a shortcut command. In the original Japanese release, Fire magic costs half a unit from the Charge Gauge, while in subsequent releases it costs one unit.
Donald Duck is capable of casting Fire from the outset, and he can cast Fira and Firaga once they are obtained by Sora.
Fire magic can be used to light fires in various locations, such as at the oven and lab equipment in the Camp and the candles on upper level of the Entrance Hall. It also opens the door in the Third District that leads to the Mystical House.
Kingdom Hearts Chain of MemoriesEdit
In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Fire is a magic card that can be used by Sora. Its flight arc is similar to the version from Kingdom Hearts, while in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, the flight arc has been improved, making it so that it always hits.
The Donald and Jack friend cards and their associated sleights can cast Fire magic when used.
The Fire card is required for the following sleights:

Kingdom Hearts IIEdit
In Kingdom Hearts II, Fire magic creates a rotating ring of flames that surrounds the caster to inflict damage on nearby enemies. It costs 10 MP to use, 12 MP in the Final Mix release. When Mobile Action is equipped, Sora can move while using Fire magic, allowing him to tackle a much greater swath of enemies. Good for crowd control, and compared to the first game, it can deal more damage if Sora is close enough, but at the cost of significantly reduced range.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 DaysEdit
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Fire, Fira, and Firaga are magic panels. All three may ignite enemies, causing their health to drain continuously.
- Fire launches a homing fireball, which inflicts damage on a single enemy.
- Fira launches a ball of fire that flies straight forwards and explodes on contact, piercing through enemies to potentially strike those hiding behind them.
- Firaga launches a large ball of fire in an arch, with homing properties, which explodes upon making contact with the ground or a target.
