The New Moon is a Claymore that can be wielded by Saïx in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Design[edit]

The New Moon is almost entirely grey, symbolizing that it is the most basic of Saïx's weapons through the use of achromatic colors. It has a short, light grey handle with a black spike set in its pommel. It has a large, two-pronged blade. The base of the blade sports a short spike on either of its sides. The tip of each prong is flat and slats inward. The entirety of the blade is light grey and has grey edges.

When Saïx enters his berserk state, the entire blade gains a thick, white additional blade around it. This new blade has thin, light blue edges.

A "new moon" is a lunar phase where the moon is hardly visible in the sky due to no sunlight reflecting on the side that faces the Earth.

Gameplay[edit]
