The Black Guards are the upgraded versions of the original guard programs.They often operate in teams of four. They appear in the Disney film, Tron: Legacy, and will appear in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, in The Grid.

Development

In the Jump Festa 2012 trailer, Riku fights a Black Guard while on a Light Cycle. Another scene shows him captured by several of them.
