Story[edit]

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance[edit]

A Komory Bat is the first Dream Eater Riku creates. He battles with it against Beat's Kooma Panda during his first visit to Traverse Town.

In Sora's side of La Cité des Cloches, Captain Phoebus slays a Nightmare Komory Bat with his sword.

Later on in The World That Never Was, Riku's Komory Bat appears alongside Sora's Meow Wow to help Riku get inside the Castle That Never Was, and Riku gives the bat a pat as thanks.

When Sora returns to Traverse Town following the Mark of Mastery exam, Riku's Komory Bat and several others show up to greet Sora.

Design[edit]

The Komory Bat has a small body. Its round, furry head has a diamond mark covering its face, with large, frilled ears, tiny eyes, and two small fangs. Two small, clawed feet hang from its body, while two large, thin wings extend outward. The wings are covered with four-pointed stars, one of them much larger than the others. Its Emblem is on the back of its head.

The Komory Bat's name is derived from "Bat" (蝙蝠 Kōmori?), so that its name is essentially "Bat Bat." Both forms of the Komory Bat have the general shape of a Honduran white bat.

Spirit[edit]

As a Spirit, it has a pink body and purple feet. Its head is yellow with a pink diamond, while its ears are green, fading into blue. It has black eyes with pupils, that change color depending on its disposition, and its fangs are pink. Its wings are pink, but can be changed using Paint Guns, while the stars on the wings are yellow and pink, and outlined in blue.

Nightmare[edit]

As a Nightmare, it has a purple body and yellow feet. Its head is black with a light blue diamond, while the inside of its ears are pink, fading into purple, the back of its ears are lime. It has red eyes with, and its fangs are blue, the same color as the diamond on its head. Its wings are dark blue, while the stars on the wings are blue and green, and outlined in white.
