"Piccolo Resto" (Ita: "Short Rest") is a musical piece composed by Yoko Shimomura that is used in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories.
Appearances
"Piccolo Resto" is used mainly in Sora's Story, often playing during events in which the group is trying to solve a puzzle or mystery.

Composition
"Piccolo Resto" is approximately one minute and twenty seconds long and plays at a tempo of 135 beats per minute. It has a time signature of 4/4 time "Piccolo Resto" does not have an introduction or conclusion, allowing for smooth transitions between loops. The instrumentation consists of: shakers, pizzicato strings, triangle, marimba, and a synthesizer.
