Situation Commands are a gameplay element in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-. They behave similarly to Reaction Commands, in which they behave differently depending on context.
Unlike Reaction Commands, Situation Commands can not only be selected through pressing , but by also pressing up on the D-pad to select the Situation Command and then pressing , in the Japanese version. Also unlike Reaction Commands, multiple Situation Commands can appear at once.

Battle Situation Commands
Combat-based Situation Commands are activated in a manner reminiscent of Command Styles and Finish commands from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, in that they are activated by filling a meter (in this case, three markers) by engaging in combat. These Situation Commands activated depend upon how this meter is filled. When the criteria for activating a combat Situation Command is reached, the Situation Command has a time limit to activate.
