The Illicit Research is a Lexicon that can be wielded by Zexion in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Illicit Research+.

DesignEdit

Illicit Research is shaped roughly like a semi-circle with a large, green diamond in the center of each cover, as well as two smaller ones on the spine. There is an oval chunk taken out of the top and bottom sides of both covers. The both the diamonds and the lexicon share a lilac-colored border, and the remaining sections of the book are light blue.

“Illicit” means “illegal” or “illegitimate”. Research is an organized documentation of observations and examinations.

GameplayEdit

Illicit Research's normal ground combo consists of White Tome's a slash straight down with the spine up and a sweep from Zexion's upper right to lower left and back. The combo finisher has Zexion hover in the air slightly, throwing Illicit Research in front of him with one arm stretched forward. As the lexicon trembles, Zexion throws his arms wide and it opens up, expanding larger than Zexion with blush claws within that charges at the enemy ahead. The aerial combo is identical.
