The Abandoned Dogma is a Lexicon that can be wielded by Zexion in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Abandoned Dogma+.

Design

The Abandoned Dogma Lexicon takes the shape of a semi-circle with an oval chunk taken out of the top and bottom sides of both covers. It has a large, yellow diamond at the center of each cover, as well as two smaller ones on the spine. The remaining parts of the two covers are light purple, while the remaining sections of the spine are pink. Both the diamonds and the Lexicon share a black border.

"Abandoned" means "forsaken" or "deserted". Often used in a religious context, dogma is a belief or doctrine that is believed to be absolutely true.

Gameplay

The Abandoned Dogma's ground combo begins as Zexion thrusts the Lexicon in front of him, bashing the target. It is followed with a sweeping motion with the Lexicon, and it is finished when Zexion lays the Lexicon in front of him, then releasing it outward, it growing considerable size and bursting toward the target.

Its aerial combo begins with a thrust downward, followed by a thrust up. The combo is finished as Zexion lays the Lexicon in front of him, then releasing it outward, it growing considerable size and bursting toward the target.
