Story
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance
When Riku returns to the Nave in La Cité des Cloches, Riku will encounter the Lord Kyroo. When first encountered, the Lord Kyroo will ask for a fight. Upon accepting its challenge, Riku will face off against the Lord Kyroo and its army of Chief Kyroos and Sir Kyroos. If Riku doesn't defeat the Lord Kyroo within a certain amount of time, the Lord Kyroo will retreat before blowing a kiss. Sora will then encounter the Lord Kyroo at the Promontory in Prankster's Paradise, where the Lord Kyroo will offer the same challenge to Sora. If the Sora doesn't defeat the Lord Kyroo, the Lord Kyroo will retreat to the Moonlight Wood in Symphony of Sorcery waiting for Riku. If Riku doesn't defeat the Lord Kyroo this time, the Lord Kyroo will retreat, repeating its location and challenge again and again to Sora and Riku until they defeat the Lord Kyroo.

Etymology
"Kaeru" (蛙) and "Ouji" (王子) mean "frog" and "prince" in Japanese, respectively.
Strategy
The Lord Kyroo is an enemy that appears only one time in Symphony of Sorcery. As Riku, go back from the save point in Snowgleam Wood, get on the snowflake platforms, and head right. There is a small passage and clearing. Head left down a Flowmotion rail. At the base there is a spawn point with three Sir Kyroos, and defeating them all will cause Lord Kyroo to appear. Other Lord Kyroos can appear in regular Portals like the one in Monstro's Mouth.
Although, a Rare Nightmare Lord Kyroo can be found in several worlds in a determined sequence. It can be found in Prankster's Paradise on Promontory or in the Nave in La Cite de Cloches on Riku's side. After the Kyroo is fought in one world and flees, it will go to the other. For last, it can be found in Symphony of Sorcery at Snowgleam Wood. It's white colored as all other Rare Nightmares, but it does not attack Sora or Riku. Instead, they can talk to him and challenge it to a battle. If they accept, the fight starts. Otherwise, it will stay there.
Once the battle starts, the Lord Kyroo begins summoning many Chef Kyroos and Sir Kyroos to defend it. It can also launch attacks in the form of hearts that causes confusion. After seventy seconds elapse, the Lord Kyroo will retreat from battle and proceed to the next world in its rotation. Although, it can be defeated in one battle if Sora or Riku are powerful enough. If it is not defeated at Symphony of Sorcery, it will come back to Prankster Paradise, restarting the cycle.
During battle, if one retreats to another area, then the whole battle is reset, meaning it's possible to run away and challenge the Lord Kyroo again. It is also possible to save somewhere close beforehand in order to keep retrying. During battle, it is also possible to defeat Lord Kyroo before any of the other enemies around are defeated, meaning all enemies must be defeated in order to clear the fight and receive the HP bonus. If the battle does not seem over at all even with all enemies defeated and with no message regarding the HP bonus, then the fight may occasionally be bugged but it's possible to as aforementioned, exit the area to restart the whole fight and ask the Lord Kyroo again for the challenge.
Lord Kyroo as usual, is weak to fire. Take advantage of its vulnerability periods to repeatedly attack it as much as possible in successions of combos, especially with several fire-based abilities in the mix. Having fire-based Spirits assist you in the battle can also ease up the Sir Kyroos storming the area, but the Chef Kyroos are more difficult to deal with due to having no weakness to fire or any weakness at all. Powerful Link Attacks or Dual Links are also advised to inflict as much damage as possible, either on a single target or through area-of-effect as well. If you wish to defeat Lord Kyroo as soon as possible to make sure everyone else is a pushover, then be sure to lock-on to him and never let it out of your sight, as well as hammering away with many fire-based moves and powerful commands as possible in successive combos.
