Mystery Gear ③ (Roxas/Xion) |
The Aubade (オウバードロード Oubādo Rōdo , lit. "Aubade Lord") is a form of the Kingdom Key that appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It is one of two unique weapons that Roxas and Xion can wield. The Kingdom Key is changed into the Aubade when the Mystery Gear is equipped.
Design
The Keyblade is composed of a Japanese chokutō with light-flash shaped spikes on the top, middle, and bottom of the blade to make up its teeth and upper and lower guard, respectively.
Trivia
- The names of Roxas's weapons generally refer to either the pain of parting and loneliness, or light phenomena. The Aubade is the only weapon to do both.
- This Keyblade, along with the Umbrella, has a much faster swing speed than the others.
